What's New in 2009

Dec 10
On December 1, the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Reserve Board, along with other agencies, issued the Model Privacy Notice. Written in plain language and designed in a user-friendly format, the Model Privacy Notice makes it easier for consumers to understand how financial institutions collect and share their personal information.

Kleimann developed the Notice, managing a large-scale qualitative research project, including extensive consumer research and usability testing. Using or substantive expertise, we helped create a standard and usable Notice that all financial institutions can use.
