Garrison Book Club

We love to read, and we want children to love it too. In 2004, we started our partnership with Garrison Elementary School teachers to reinforce what they're already doing in the classrooms—getting kids excited about reading and building their personal libraries.

Our book club started with the kindergarten classes, and we add a grade level each year. We come to the school monthly, do an activity, read with the children, and give them a book. So far, we’ve given more than 2,000 books to over 140 kindergarten through fourth grade students. Not bad for a small business!

Our goal? To help kids become lifelong readers and to give back to our community.
